Lauren began her career in marketing and advertising when she joined the account management team of a leading upstate New York agency in 1997. The then largest advertising and public relations firm later promoted Lauren to lead the expansion of the client roster as the company doubled its size, reaching into new markets including Atlanta, GA.
In 2001 Lauren seized an opportunity to transition professionally from advertising and public relations into the world of fundraising and volunteer recruitment and development. At Cornell University, she had the pleasure of working with some of the best professionals in the country. The experience fundraising in higher education helped her identify a genuine need for small businesses and not-for profit organizations.
After just over four years working at Cornell, she decided to make a life choice to stay home with her two children and a year later began her own consulting practice. The purpose of this new endeavor was to help clients understand how to construct truly effective marketing practices that have thoughtful customer relationship cultivation at the core of every initiative and creative execution.
Lauren grew up in Baldwinsville, NY and is a graduate of Gettysburg College. She currently resides with her family in Cortland, NY and enjoys volunteering in the community. Lauren serves as a board member of 40 Below Cortland, Cornell’s Alumnae Panhellenic Advisory Council and is a member of Cortland Regional Health Center’s Hospital Aid.
